R smithRichard has over 35 years of strategy, process improvement and change management business advisory experience and is Solution Enterprises' practice lead for organizational change. He was previously a Partner at PwC in the Strategic Change Practice and the Partner-in-Charge of the Center of Excellence for Business Process Transformation. This deep advisory experience, combined with over 15 years of corporate experience in sales and marketing, operations and quality management, brings a wide-range of expertise to any engagement.

Most recently, Richard served as an executive coach and advisor for large operational and new product initiatives and is an instructor at Rutgers University’s Center for Management Development. He is a frequent speaker on the topics of organizational change, process transformation and Six Sigma deployment at conferences sponsored by leading organizations such as The Conference Board and is the co-author of the book “Strategic Six Sigma: Best Practices from the Executive Suite,” (Wiley, 2002). He is also the owner of Richard C. Smith LLC – a firm he started in 2000 to help clients in the areas of strategy, process improvement and change management.

Richard completed Executive Programs at both the Darden School at the University of Virginia and the Tuck School at Dartmouth University and later received the Organizational Dynamics Certification at Columbia University. He also earned a BS in Marketing from La Salle University and is a Six Sigma Black Belt and certified in Situational Leadership® from Blanchard and DISC® behavioral/personality profile from Wiley.
